NE-konacni odgovor je bas taj, Dave, Martin i Andrew nas nazalost NECE udostojiti svojom posetom u Beogradu….a razlog tome-pa zar bas fucking Stonsi?!? Naime, sve je bilo dogovreno, ali kako su Stonsi pomerili datum svog koncerta, ispostavilo se da bi se dva spektakla odigrala u svega dve nedelje, na sta je Depeche prokomentarisao da Beograd ipak realno ne moze da napuni takva dva koncerta za tako kratko vreme. Jeste da uglavnom ljudi ne slusaju istovremeno ove dve grupe, medjutim vecina njih bi otisla zbog samog dogadjaja, odnosno spektakla. Peticija na netu je profunkcionaisala, ali sumnjam da ce imati efekta! No ima nade…pare u rucice pa put Zagreba, Ljubljane ili Budimpeste…ko voli, nek’ izvoli…stoga sledi i ovaj prilog…

DEPECHE MODE, one of the most influential and enduring acts of the modern music era, returned with a new album in late October on Mute/Reprise and a world tour launching in the U.S. that same month. DAVE GAHAN, MARTIN GORE and ANDREW FLETCHER traveled to Dusseldorf, Germany (June 16) to meet with fans and media from around the world to announce plans for their massive 2005-2006 world tour. The band last toured in 2001, playing an incredible 85 shows to nearly two million people.

For the much-anticipated new album, DEPECHE MODE joined forces for the first time with producer Ben Hillier (Doves, Blur). It was recorded in Santa Barbara and New York, with mixing now in progress in London. The as-yet-untitled album follows the band’s May 2001 acclaimed studio release EXCITER. Selling more than 2.6 million copies around the world, it was described by USA TODAY’s Elysa Gardner as “…the earthiest and most futuristic song cycle the group has released yet, folding acoustic and electronic orchestration into gorgeous sonic landscapes. The graceful, pulsating 'Dream On' may be the finest single that songwriter Martin Gore has crafted since 1990's 'Enjoy The Silence.' The delicately soulful 'Freelove' and 'Shine' are lovelier still, showcasing Dave Gahan's most tender, confident singing to date” (5/15/2001). Last year DEPECHE MODE released the REMIXES 81-04 collection, which sold over a million copies worldwide and featured the single, a new remix of the group’s classic “Enjoy The Silence.”

One of the biggest bands in the world today, renowned for their groundbreaking live shows, this new DEPECHE MODE tour will undoubtedly be one of the musical highlights of the 2005-2006 concert season. The six-week, 25-date U.S. tour will kick-off in late October (details of which will be announced in the coming months) before heading to Europe in 2006. Their 55 European dates span a host of countries including Germany, England, Switzerland, Poland, France and Italy. The overseas trek kicks off in Germany in January 2006 and ends at London’s Wembley Arena in early April.
